About Ovarian Cancer Update
Epithelial ovarian cancer is the leading cause of death from gynecologic cancer in the United States. However, the potential availability of new systemic treatment options has recently inspired enthusiasm in the treatment community. Randomized Phase III studies are also attempting to provide clinical assessment of these new agents, and it is hoped that the results will lead to changes in the indications for existing treatment strategies, improving the duration and quality of life for patients with ovarian cancer.
To ensure that current data on these interventions are reaching practicing clinicians, this year Research To Practice is launching Ovarian Cancer Update (OCU). This program provides medical oncologists with access to the latest research developments and expert perspectives on innovative clinical protocols and up-to-date management strategies for ovarian cancer. OCU is intended to be a valuable, relevant and important CME resource for the clinicians that encounter this often challenging disease.
